Gayle Schrier Smith, M.D.

Dr. Smith has served the healthcare needs of children in Richmond for twenty years. She is a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her internship and residency at the Children’s Medical Center of VCU and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is married and the mother of four children with outside interests in photography and conservation.

Tricia Flanagan, M.A.

Tricia brings her experience in pediatric medicine to serve your family’s needs as our Clinical Coordinator. She is a former military veteran where her service garnered numerous honors and on retirment from the service, she chose to continue her medical work in our practice.  As the mother of three, she brings hands on experience to our staff and enjoys outdoor photography.  Look for her work throughout the website.

Janice Sargent

Janice is our Administrator and keeps the office running smoothly so that you and your family have the most efficient and streamlined medical care imaginable.  She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, and she also enjoys teaching music and drama with the Christian Youth Theater of Richmond. 

Cathy Powell

You’ll know Cathy as the behind the scenes advocate for your family in all things administrative. Her role as the Business Manager is one that our practice and families truly appreciate. She is your interface with insurance companies, healthcare paperwork, forms and referrals. She has made it her job to ensure that your child’s health plan requirements are met and covered services are reimbursed properly.
